Vancouver has many salmon streams that have been paved over.
Some of these streams are eventually being brought back to life by concerned citizens, and one, Musqueam Creek, has wild salmon still struggling to survive in it. We invite you to reimagine Vancouver from the point of view of its streams, wetlands, and watersheds. Below is a draft list of local projects–please contact us if you know of more that should be added:
- False Creek Watershed Society
- Musqueam Ecosystem Conservation Society
- Mount Pleasant (emerging project) – St. George Creek, Brewery Creek, China Creek
- Hastings Park Conservancy
